Bed & Breakfast

The guest accommodation is situated in one of the newest parts of the farmhouse (about 1570) and comprises a double room with a private bathroom. A pair of the original cruck beams are exposed in the bedroom - a rare structure in north-east England. An adjacent twin room is also available making the accommodation suitable for use by a party of up to four guests. Both bedrooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and colour television.
Wifi is available in guest areas on request.
Please note - access involves low doorways and steep stairs. For further information see our Terms & Conditions.

A sheltered, south-facing patio and garden with summer-house lie immediately outside and are freely available for the use of our guests. Ample off-road parking for several cars is provided within the farmyard, secure garaging for cycles or motorcycles by arrangement.

The Bishopley Breakfast is a memorable occasion!
It is served at the time of your choosing in the guests’ lounge/breakfast room, kept cosy by its original inglenook fireplace, now fitted with a woodburning stove. Musical accompaniment from the 1958 jukebox is entirely optional !

The fayre is typically a starter of fruit juice, choice of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, etc. followed by the main course of a substantial cooked breakfast. Completing the meal with toast and marmalade or preserves and tea or coffee will set you up for the day's activity, whether it be a strenuous walk or a more leisurely drive. We will however always vary the breakfast ingredients to suit individual tastes and dietary requirements.
